what's new ... 04.21.2006
What is that you ask? New stuff? Yes you heard/read right! There is new stuff on the website, though it doesn't amount to much it's
still new so here it is:
- LINKS!!! Yes, the area previously titled "movies" has been renamed to "links".
- Not only is there a links section, but it has links! As of right now there are only a few web comic related links, but I'm working on that.
- My "opinions" area has been updated. I've begun writing in there again and will try not to let it go too long between entries.
- In the hopes of being less annoying, clicking on any of the links in the site will cause you to navigate away from the page you are viewing as opposed to opening a new window. I hate popups as much as the next person so remember to use your browser's "back" button to return to the page you were viewing (or if you are using Internet Explorer, click the little arrow next to the "back" button for a drop down of previous pages viewed and a history button).
- Renamed title flags to show more than "www.aleger.net" for easier navigation using history functions.
welcome
My name is Tony. This site is going to be nothing more than chaotic randomness as are all the websites I've made
are. I never know the direction I want to go nor what I am setting out to achieve. With that in mind please forgive
the chaos, the updates that are far and few between and the general errors that are bound to happen.
Since it's probably not obvious, you can get back to the main page by clicking the close button in the corner of this page (X).
The other way, which is a bit more obvious, is the "intro" text in grey at the upper left next to the colored text "home".

- There is much newness as can be seen. The previously framed version of the site is gone for starters.
- No more frames! Wait, I already said that...
- Links actually point to where they are supposed to in this incarnation of aleger.net
- New pictures! I hope to keep the picture area updated more frequently to let those in other parts of the country keep visually current.
- The art section. Yes, finally I'll be putting up some of my creations (though they may be few and far between :( )
- Music and movie review area. This may end up being a more a movie review area, but atleast it's something.
a little about me
As you already know, my name is Tony, though I answer to other things as well (many of which shouldn't be said in mixed company). Some say I'm witty,
charming, elegant, selfless, and generally an all around good guy...wait, that's me that said that. Most say I'm blunt, forward, opinionated, grumpy, belligerant,
bald, yada yada. Whatever, I don't really care because I am who I am and not only do I know who I am, I'm happy with it and like me.
What else...I'm from MA originally and currently residing in sunny southern California where it's not always sunny, not always a Shangri-La, but is pretty close.
Well if you got rid of about 90 percent of the population, tore down some of the expansive highways, planted some grass and pushed the rest of the houses
off the sides of the mountains, then it would be pretty close to paradise. I'm currently employed and have been with the same company for a little over 5 years
now. When the parent company decided to relocate, they made an offer that was difficult to refuse so off I went. Prior to relocation, I had just completed my
Firefighter I training and state certification, which I did pass. As soon as my certification letter came, I registered nationally so that I could continue volunteering
as a fire fighter in my spare time. Unfortunately, the closest volunteer fire department to me is about a 2 hour drive....I'm not about to drive 2 hours each way
just to roll hose! I did enjoy my brief time as a volunteer fire fighter and one day hope that I'm able to once again able to volunteer.
One thing that every one seems to agree on is that I have the attention span of a gnat. I don't have hobbies or interests, I have phases. Some of these phases
may last as long as a year or two, while others will last mere seconds. It makes Tony a very picky boy! How many people do you know that can get extremely
psyched about something and within a few eye blinks be thoroughly bored with it? Okay, let me rephrase, how many people do you know that aren't children
who can get extremely pumped up about something only to have it become tired and boring in a few short minutes? Well, now you know one.
Well that's enough for now. Maybe I'll write more later, but then again, that's what the opinions section will be for...opinions, rants, raves, praises, etc. Pretty
much a blog-type area. Who knows, as I said I change my mind a lot and grow bored with things rapidly.
Until whenever...Later.
